Coqueta

Coqueta was commissioned as a tribute to a beloved dog. I approached it as I would any serious portrait — with the gravitas of classical Dutch masters, the dark atmospheric background, the golden ribbon banner. Pets deserve to be remembered with dignity and beauty. This is what a DSA pet portrait looks like.
