I'm Deivi Sánchez. My practice integrates a foundation in computer science with an intuitive, painterly approach — public art, painting, augmented reality, and the cultural institutions that make it possible. Based in Central Florida, working with organizations, communities, and private commissions across the region.
"My history didn't begin in a gallery — it began on a farm in Los Bucares, Maracaibo. Art found me before I found it.
Originally from Venezuela, now based in Central Florida. My artistic journey began in childhood — driven by an innate passion for drawing and creative expression — and ran in parallel to a foundation in computer science. Those studies gave me a deep understanding of design principles, 3D and 2D animation, and digital tools that quietly shape the work today.
In 2017, while living in Cancún, I truly embarked on the artistic path through a drawing course at La Madeja de las Ideas. That pivotal experience led me through watercolor, charcoal, and oil — where I first found my voice. Today the work is primarily acrylic with a classic color palette, the same dynamic interplay between precision and fluidity, the analytical and the expressive, built up in layers of richness.
Today the practice runs under the DSA brand: large-scale public murals, augmented-reality installations, paintings, theater, community programs, and the institutional work of Crisopeya and ALMA Collective.

Public Art & Murals
Large-scale exterior murals for cultural institutions, public spaces, and communities — with optional augmented-reality integration.
Studio Painting
Oil and acrylic on canvas, including a UV-reactive series. Surrealist portraits, narrative figurative work, and private commissions.
Interactive & AR
AR-activated installations and interactive experiences that extend physical artwork into digital space.
Performance & Film
Theater direction, acting, and short films. The narrative discipline that shapes the visual work.
Community & Education
Workshops, talks, and participatory projects developed with cultural organizations and youth programs.
Beyond studio practice, I lead and co-build cultural organizations across Florida. Each one exists to support artists, communities, or both.
Crisopeya
President · Founded March 2025A Florida-based nonprofit dedicated to developing the arts in audiovisual, performing, music, visual, and dramaturgical disciplines. Programs span festivals, educational initiatives, and collaborative projects that connect emerging creators with the broader cultural ecosystem.
ALMA Collective
Co-founder · Founded 2024A collective of emerging Central Florida artists producing work that reflects the culture, identity, and lived experience of the communities its members represent. Group exhibitions and public programming amplify underrepresented voices.
